Matcha (pronounced dip) is the highest quality Japanese green tea used in the traditional ritual of drinking tea. Composed of hand-picked leaves, dried and ground into a powder. Thanks to its consistency is also applicable in the kitchen.
Suitable for food with the delicate, distinctive flavor and a beautiful green color. Today I used it to bake muffins. For those who like to drink green tea definitely feeling satisfied.









250g flour 2 eggs 130g sugar

oil 150ml natural yoghurt 200g

1 / 2 teaspoon salt
1 / 2 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon
baking powder 1
1 / 2 tablespoons cocoa powder 1 heaping tablespoon

Sift the flour to the bowl along with powder, salt and soda. Stir in sugar.
mix eggs with oil and yogurt. Add flour and mix gently until all ingredients are moist.
Divide the mass into two parts. Sift cocoa into one, and the second sift matcha tea. Mix.
put into each muffin shapes 2 / 3 tablespoons of cocoa. It put a whole lot of tea. On top spread the rest of the cocoa mass. Gently stir with a toothpick a circular motion to set up a pattern.
Bake 15-20 minutes at 180 degrees.
